7.1.11

I keep writing, yet deciding not to post lately... And I need to break myself out of this habit.
The good, the bad and the ugly.
But lets stick to good!

Where on Earth has have I disappeared to? That is a good question. I was right back to it. Work jumped up on me this year and I still don't feel like I have my feet underneath me yet. I've been more than blessed with so many opportunities that were, well, dropped in my lap the past few months. Starwars Weekends was a HUGE undertaking and success. Everything from the Grand Opening Ceremonies, the Media Events, Press Release Events and the weekends passing were more than I could ever hope for. I can't thank the Production Team for on boarding me this year. It was an opportunity and experience I could have never dreamed of, and I hope it will help me for SWW 2012/Celebration VI. *crossing fingers* This summer I have been cast over at the Studios. Very exciting for me... not so exciting if you ever would like to find me. Fantasmic! is once again my home. [I've missed me mirror!] usually 4 nights a week I'm there, with everything else under the sun to fill my days. What's a girl to do with all work and no play???
Go on a Ghost Hunt!

St. Augustine is beautiful, historic, and haunted!

Just as a warning, if you decide to take a ghost tour in the middle of the night don't go when it is freakishly cold for the state of Florida. The trip was fun regardless. But yes, next time there will be no frozen fingers/toes when we go ghost hunting. We took two separate tours in St. Augustine. Both were well worth taking. The fist was a walking tour, lead by a man who was old enough to almost be a ghost himself. But his ambiance was an experience all in its own. He was very somber, but sooo knowledgeable of the history everywhere we went. (And yes, we asked a lot of questions.) The second was in an old hertz. It was neat... strange to be driven around in one of those creepy cars, but our tour guide was so interesting you forgot about how strange it was. She was all about white light, and good vibes. So different from what most people would think of when you say, ghost tour. But we weren't looking for spooky, we were looking for history and cool stories. Me, being the history geek that I am was running around the Fort and Lighthouse like I was a kid in a candy store! "oohs, and ahhhs, and look at that garrison, and omg a forge!" Who does that?! Anyways, the city was beautiful. But most of all it was nice to have a weekend with the girls.

I have decided, my new favorite sitcom is the Big Bang Theory. If you have never seen it... Well, you just should catch at least one episode. Quick wit, and a quirky cast make for the best TV shows! Not too long ago, the show held a contest to win a trip to LA and see a filming. Although we did well... I'm sad to say we didn't win. But I have to say; this is geek-chic at its finest!

  1. Not sure if you still look at this...but just wanted you to know that we made our trip to WDW this year once again (and have recently become a part of the DVC since we love being there so much!). Lily is now 5 years old, and she adores everything about being in Disney! This year, we managed to see Fantasmic for the first time...and I am pretty sure we caught a glimpse of you on the boat. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that Lily's face lit up because we have a special picture of Mulan and Lily sitting in our house that she cherishes. She was completely positive that she saw "her Mulan". Hoping you are doing well! Maybe we will see you next Christmas since it has become our tradition to spend Christmas at WDW.

  2. By the way, I am also pretty sure we caught another glimpse of you at the Star Wars weekend during a Jedi Training event last summer. I had forgotten about that one...another moment when as soon as she saw you...she knew. Seeing the other Mulan(s) at Epcot is just not the same for her.
