Time to celebrate!

Your Vanilla Gorillas are the new Donald Duck Division Softball Champions; with an amazing 11-1 record! Thanks to our team and our fans!! Everyone who came out in the cold/rain/heat, week after week. I wrote this a while back. Ok, 2 years ago but for some reason has new meaning. I’m different. Stronger? More determined? Or just as lost as ever…

To new adventures:

breach their barricades.

don't let the enemy spot you.

if they do,

run faster.

Another fantastic night at Fantasmic! Twice in one week. I miss the old days… 5 nights a week on that island. I do have to say, even being away for so long, it is still my home; still my family. From the slums of last week where nothing could go right to the amazing events of the past few days I see that we are given such terrible cards so that we appreciate the good. Even when the deck seems stacked, in favor of the not so pleasant things in life, the house always wins. Let’s recap some of the positive!

1.) First off, just to have people who care enough to visit, or even call me make my day. I was told by a good friend of mine; “friends are family you choose.” I got to spend the better half of last week with my good friends from GA and their 7 yr old little boy, Wesley. Watched a little Illuminations, Spectro… had a few visitors .

2.) We are in the mist of Star Wars Weekends; my favorite time of year. I especially love our Sunday nights! Today I had a fun-filled day at Jedi Training Academy. Not to mention who graced our presence after show the other day. Celine Dion. What?!

3.) Alan B. Shepard Choir was here! Nova was the seed of everything I am today. Four years in the making in high school, then I took everything I learned, everything I loved to college and it led me here. There is so much I have accomplished. My favorite and most rewarding is Fantasmic! For four years now I have been telling Fal, come to Disney and I WILL be doing f! Here he is, choir and all. And what do I see from the boat? An entire section stood up and cheered. I have never been so over whelmed from show in my life.

7.) Encore is going to be amazing this year!

Tomorrow is the last day of SSW of the year... And I'm lucky enough to be at Studios. (In pink spandex!) I am sure I will run into Lynda Skywalker at some point. I wonder if she knows shes kinda crazy?? Anywho, I have much more in my mind... but will discuss another time.
